We got a call today that if I'm not in school soon, I'll be taken off my dad's insurance. So, I'm going back to school.
Looking into taking Dental & Chairside Assistant. I'd love to work in an office that strictly deals with kids! So, I've got an appointment tomorrow with a college, and hope to be starting classes soon!

My BFF back in TX is a dental assistant at a peds clinic and she LOVES it!! She only works like 8-2 during the school year and 10-3 in the summer...its awesome

My cousin is a dental hygenist and she LOVES it.
She has been doing it for probably about 15 years.

How exciting! I returned to school last Spring semester after being out for over 15 years! It's been awesome!!!! I just finished my Summer session final exam today, so I have a week off until Fall classes start.
I'm going for Dental Hygiene! Small world  I never thought about a pediatric clinic!!! OHHHH, I just think I decided on that, thanks !!!

Good for you Jess!!! My dad is a Dentist, he gets so excited when he finds a good assistant!! And it takes really special people to do peds dentistry!! My dad hates working on kids, but he's worked on me all my life and he's so good I just don't get it. He says it makes him too nervous, he can handle causing discomfort to an adult but kids just don't understand and don't like or are scared of you. He doesn't like that. Anyway  !!!! Good luck tomorrow, you'll do great!! And yep, if you ever need help w/ homework, let us know!
