i have a question.....and i thought this may be the best place to get an answer or some thoughts.....
a little history- i have 2 children 8 and 10, no problems with or during pregnancy, very uneventful
after them i have had several m/c's( 7), all with very different reasons.
but my situation now is- i don't remember the last date of my lmp, it was somewhere from june 15-20, to the best that i can remember....i took a hpt on july 25, it was very positive, not faint in any way. i waited before i called the dr, and went for my first beta wednesday, i got the results on thursday(yesterday), they were over 20,000 don't know the exact #, that is what the nurse said....they sent me for an u/s, the sac measured right around 5w 3d. he said everything looked perfect for where i was at, but it doesn't add up to me. i could be off a day or 2 on lmp, but i am not off on the day that i got +hpt. that would have been a very bright positive for somewhere around 3 weeks 4 days. and with my betas being so high, something more should have been seen. i really feel that this pregnancy is going to end in m/c. i'm not trying to be to pessimistic, but just realistic. i would love some truly honest answers on what you guys think.....thank you especially if you made it this far.
i go next thursday for a repeat u/s.

I don't really think it could end in m/c. I had a friend who had very high HCG levels in her early pregnancy they were like 18,000 and she is now in her third trimester. Everyones body produces the hormone at different levels. Some women it doubles every 48 hours and others it could double every 24 hours, i really think it just depends on your body. I wish you tons of sticky dust!!

I really think it's too early to tell if it's going to end in m/c. My doc said you really can't go off your hormone level because everyone's is so different. Some ladies can have really low #'s and still have a healthy pregnancy and some ladies have really high #'s. I think you will know more after the repeat u/s. As long as your not having any bledding/spotting, there's probably nothing to be worried about at this point. Try and think positive! (((((HUGS)))))
