I'm home from the hospital and am actually feeling pretty good. My u/s confirmed no hb and actually showed either a reduction in size or the baby didn't make it as far as we thought. Either way, I felt at peace with my decision to have the surgery. Besides passing out in pre-op while getting my IV, everything went smoothly. I'm a pass-out risk anyway and I wasn't allowed to eat and it was HOT in there...well they had me all bundled up because it is cold in the OR. So, I caused a bit of excitement with that (they get serious when your bp is 60/30). I hadn't been under anethesia before, but it didn't make me sick or anything. I just felt like I was waking up from a really really deep sleep. Now I am just a bit crampy (but I'm on meds to make me cramp) and I'm barely bleeding at all. The hospital staff was awesome and I found out when I got there that my doc came in on her day off to do this for me Also, my DH has been amazing. I'm going to rest all day tomorrow and then think about leaving on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. Thanks for everything ladies, I felt so reassured about the surgery by reading your comments on your own experiences.

Just wanted to let you know that I think of you and your DH all the time and hope and pray that you have another successful pregnancy. I know you are waiting for awhile, and I respect that. You know I'm a quitter We love you so so much. You are my favorite sister! Hehehe. I always wanted the strong relationship that sisters have, and I'm so happy for our relationship. I'd do anything for you, and I'm sure you know that. You CAN lean on me more than you do, b/c I didn't think you leaned on me at all!!

I'm glad your recovery is going well (physically). I'll keep you in my prayers as you continue to recover (emotionally).
