Has anyone of you gotten pregnant before your first period following the m/c?

The reason why I'm asking is that I had a m/c on the 27th-28th of July (uterus was pretty much empty on the u/s on 29th), we had unprotected sex just once last weekend, around the 2nd, and now I'm having same symptoms as I had about one week after the conception with the first pregnancy. Mild digging/stabbing pain on the lower right side of the belly near the pelvis and hip bone, night time nausea, sensitivity to smells and my boobs feel slightly sore. And a headache, which I didn't have last time though.

So although it probably isn't anything, it does make me a bit intrigued.

First of all, is it even possible to get pregnant so soon after m/c?
Second, is there a bigger chance for another m/c?
And third, would the uterus be ready for it yet?


To add, I only bled for a week (didn't bleed anymore on the day we had sex), though there's some rosy colored cm still coming out.

Every woman is different, but i wouldn't think you would have O'd just yet. Unless if you are a early O'er normally, but usually your cycles following a m/c are messed up and a little longer than normal. But like i said ever woman is different. It is possible to get pregnant before your first AF, i only know that because i did lol. 20 days after my m/c in December i ovulated and got pregnant. I don't really think that your at a higher risk of m/c, but i'm not sure on that. I did end up having another m/c. Good luck! And welcome to TTCAL

i miscarried at 8wks on april 1st. (i bled/spotted the entire pregnancy. ) on april 29th i STOPPED spotting which was the day i was suppose to start my period......i took a pregnancy test a couple of weeks later and it was positive. im still quite confused BUT i am now almost 15wks pregnant and have not had any complications whatsoever. good luck dear!

I had a miscarriage Feb 4, 2005 and DS#2 was conceived March 9,2005. The only reason I took a HPT was because I was going to start provera.
It's very possible.

FIrst of all, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Everyone's body is different. It is possible to get pregnant before your first AF after a m/c. I don't know about the risks or anything but I know there are people on here that have had this happen so it is very possible. Good luck and I hope you get some answers. Do you know when you might have ovulated?
