Hey ladies. Well today is the day I have been waiting on for almost 2 months. I am going to see a new Dr today @ 2:15 and I hope that he is willing to help DH and I. It's time for my yearly check-up anyway but this month is the one year mark of DH and I TTC. I don't know if they will do much since I have gotten pregnant but I am hoping that they will. I have so many things that I want to ask but I don't want to seem like a crazy person. I was wondering if there were any questions that ya'll might can think of that would be good for me to ask him? I have all my charts since January printed out where I have been taking temps and so on. If ya'll have any advice or questions that I could ask him, please let me know. I am a nervous wreck right now. I feel like I could totally lose my breakfast. I am just scared that he will blow me off or that he will tell me that there is something wrong and that we will not be able to have a baby. I guess a little bit of everything is running through my mind right now. I know everything will be fine but I am soooo nervous. I'm sorry about the babbling. Thanks for listening. Ya'll are the greatest.
Well ladies, I'm back from my appt. I got there at 2. My appt was at 215 and i left there at 5. It was a long wait but I was kind of prepared for that. Well, first off I absolutely loved my new DR. He was sooo wonderful. He says that the way everything sounds, I'm ovulating as I should. Sooooo.......next thing is a SA for DH. But that's not all, He wants to do a D&C W/ HYSTEROSCOPY and a DIAGNOSTIC LAPAROSCOPY W/INDICATED PROCEDURES. I had the nurse write it down because I would have never remembered all that. I was expecting a plan of action but I don't think I was quite prepared for that. I just wasn't expecting to have to be put to sleep and all that stuff. I am supposed to go to Texas with DH for a few days so I told them I wanted to wait until after that before I had the procedure done. I am scheduled for pre-op on September 8 and the surgery is scheduled for September 12. I am just really scared and unsure about all of it. It would be really nice if we were successful this cycle and I will get my sticky BFP before I even have to go for my pre-op. I am 5DPO right now so I should know in about a week or so. I know some of ya ll have had a D&C but has anyone had the Laparoscopy? I guess I just wasn't prepared for all this. I just hope my insurance will cover it because it just took affect August 1. Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. It was wonderful coming home and seeing everyones responses.

Try to relax and look at this as an EXCITING appt.! You will hopefully get some questions and answered and on the road to more answers with testing. My doctor (and a few of my friends docs too) say that they begin testing things out if you haven't gotten pregnant in three months (that is with good charts that show good ovulation and such)...so after a year I would hope you could get some basic tests done that lead to answers...and don't worry...I'm sure you can have a baby....some things are so easily "fixed". Good luck!!

Ask all the questions you want. My Dr. was great when I went in with a laundry list of questions after my miscarriage in June. I will be thinking of you and waiting for great news!

Thanks ladies for all the support. I have so many questions running through my head right now. I know everything will be fine. I just did not have a good experience with my previous dr. Thanks for listening though and the advice. I know things will be fine and I will update ya'll when I get home this evening. It might be later on though. My appt isn't until 2:15 and it's an hours drive for me. THen my son starts Kindergarten next week and we have to go to his open house tonight to meet his teacher and all that fun stuff. Anyway. Thanks again ladies. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I know I'm late, but good luck! I don't know where you live, but I'm PST, so you must either be in with the doc now or you've already had the appt. I'm anxious to see how it all went.

WOW he really is doing a plan of action! I've never had any of those done, but i had a friend that had LAPAROSCOPY done and she never said anything to me that it was bad or painful so i'm not sure. Good luck with everything though!

Yay! That makes me so happy that the doc is not brushing you off (like so many do). Good luck with everything. I'm a stranger to all this stuff, but I am sure he's only doing what's in your best interest. Keep us posted, please!

Wow, sounds like he's got a plan of action all laid out. That's awesome! Glad he is taking everything seriously and wants to help. I haven't had either of those procedures done but I am sure everything will go great for you.

Sounds like you didn't have any thing to be nervous about once you met your new dr.
He sounds very thorough and is going to work with you to decrease your time TTC.
Hopefully nature will take charge and you get the beautiful BFP in about a week.
Good Luck and KUP!
