Hi All,

I suffered a M/C last month at just 4.5 weeks pregnant. My DH I & I have decided to try again this month and I was wondering if anyone knows how long the pregnancy hormones will be present in my system??

I chart ovulation with a "Maybe Baby" which identifies increased oestrogen levels in your system around ovulation through your saliva. It's a fantastic little gadget!!

Only problem being that due to my pregnancy last month my levels are already high so I can not get an accurate reading to confirm ovulation.

So if I can get an idea of when we levels will decrease so I can begin to chart again.

Thanks!!

I just tested until I got a negative and then I knew the HCG was gone. You could always go to a doctor and they would test you until the levels returned to normal.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

I'm so sorry about your loss. We all here know exactly what you are going through. As far as your levels, it just depends. I was also 4.5 weeks when I had my m/c. That was on June 1. I had a beta done on June 10 and my levels were back to 0. I don't know how long before my test they were back down but hopefully that will help you some.

Welcome to the board and I hope that you will stick around and join us. These ladies are all so wonderful and supportive. They really helped me through my m/c. My name is Jennifer and I am one of your co-host for this board. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have. There is no such thing as TMI here. I hope that you get your sticky BFP really soon. I look forward to getting to know you better.

They actually drop rather fast. I had a beta done with my frist loss, it was 172 then two days later is was 55 then 3 days after that it was 0 so it usually doesn't take them long to drop when they level are lower.

Welcome to TTCAL though, i'm Denise(23) one of your co-host. DH is Chris(25) i'm a SHAM to Isis(3) and Athena(2) and also have 3 angel babies

with my last loss i was nine weeks along (blighted ovum) so my levels were not as high as they should have been, but it took three weeks to get to 0. so sorry about your loss.
