My son was stillborn on July 10th. Around the 25th/26th I thought I was maybe O'ing but didn't start AF until August 18th. I always had 28 day cycles so that would put me O'ing around the 1st of September.

This morning I had very sharp right side pain that I do normally get when I O. But I'm still bleeding and if AF was the start of my cycle that would put me O'in on cd4, which seems way early.

But if I O'd on the 25th of July like I thought I felt then O'ing now would be right on....

So, if I O'd this morning and we BD tonight what are the chances? I'm assuming not very good since we hadn't BD at all prior.

I just want to be regular again!

UPDATE:

I used an ovulation predictor at 4:00pm and there is a 2nd line. It's not as dark as the control line. Could that mean I O'd this morning?

After looking at other pics, I'm going to assume since it's not dark it's negative?

im not sure but it could be last cycle was just screwy after losing your son but if you have Od today then you do still have a chance.
i actually read yesterday that doctors are recomending bding the day after you O because pos opk and even the signs can be slightly out.
also i get the cramps and sharp pains for a day or so before i O as well as when i do so my advice... get to it you just never know!

If I did O this morning would an OPK be positive still this afternoon?

I've never used them before so don't really know how they work.

I just wanna say good luck! I don't think you would be O'ing that early might just be some weird type of cramps that came with AF.

Sheesh, I almost posted this exact topic two days ago. I had EWCM three days ago and the day before yesterday. Then yesterday I got a little crampy as if I were Oing. Now I am back to sticky cm. I was in an ovulation study when I got pregnant with Aaron. I peed in a cup daily so they could track. I O'ed once as early as day 5. I was still on my period at the time and was shocked that I O'ed, but I surely did. Normally I O around cd 15. So I suspect that I might have already too and I am only a few days ahead of you. Maybe having our boys messed with it and it takes a bit to get on track? Most people dont pay attention to when they O after having a baby. Sadly, we are paying attention. We have not dtd yet, but will tonight. Maybe it is not too late. Or maybe we are feeling other things and have not yet. Part of me is stalling a bit anyway. Hopefully you will catch that egg!

Hi Alicia - I think that your OPK is a negative too. I've only used OPKs durring one month, but mine stayed dark for 3 days in a row. I stopped testing after thoses 3 days though. I don't know too much about OPKs, but I do know that when they are + the test line is at least as dark as the control line.

If you think you are Oing - I'd BD anyway, just to be safe. GOOD LUCK!!!!
