expect more mood swings than normal over the next few weeks!

i have just smoked my last ***!!!!
i deliberatly havent bought anymore. i had cut down a lot but i know i need to quit so for the umteenth time im going to try and stop!
mark smokes which makes it slightly harder but I am in control of my body and my body needs to realise that! soooo here we go again!
the reason im doing it now is because its the second week i find hardest and this time mark will be away so i wont be tempted by him smoking. hopefully that will make it a bit easier!
just thought i would warn you!
xx

Congrats Sarah!!!! Being a quitter is hard!!! I followed the same procedure you did, I cut way down, and then cut out my last few smokes a day one at a time over a couple month period. You can do it!!!! It's miserable for a little while, and then you just start to feel better; you start to feel stronger and more self-confident. If you can quit smoking, you can do ANYTHING!!! Or at least that's how I felt!

Quitting is hard to do...but you'll be so glad you did NEXT week. I used to smoke 1.5 to 2 packs a day. I quit cold turkey and that was it. Its been 3 years already and I am so glad I did. My hair smells good, my clothes smell good, my hands smell good, my breath smells good and before it just smelled like smoke.

My mom quit cold turkey and has now been smoke-free for 11 years. She kept a journal and whenever she wanted a smoke, she'd write in it. By the time she was done writing, she didn't want it anymore.

WAY TO GO!!! Good Luck!! Quiting is hard but worth it. I quit 3 years ago, and it was very hard then, but I don't miss it at all now!!
