Monday took 3 tests....yes three. Just kept hoping the line would be darker even though I know it wouldn't. All came out with faint line. Tuesday my doctor did a pee test and it was positive. So I got my HCG quanitative and progesterone level drawn. I am soooooooooooooo excited. And then the next emotion is paranoia. After having that miscarriage last year I just am soooooooooo scared. Every time I pee I get scared to look at the toilet paper. Each cramp I evaluate. I took another test in afternoon and it wasn't as dark but I'm only 2 weeks so maybe the HCG wasn't as strong plus I had drank a extra large limeade so maybe it was diluted. I press on my breasts just to see if they are still sore. How the heck can I handle this for three months while trying to enjoy it. I just keep praying that please let this one be ok. I keep reading how my chances are 25%. Better than 50/50 but really I just want the magic answer. I want to know the future. Any advice????

HCG came back 28 progesterone came back 30.3 (on 8/29 it was 15.8). All seems well but no doctor appointment set yet. Still can't stop evaluating everything and being scared versus happy and excited. I just remember the let down I had last time after all the excitement. How crushed I was.

Firstly...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

When I can my BFP I'm pretty sure I'll be very much the same. I think it's normal to feel this way but do try and relax. Maybe do some relaxation exercises, read of book, go for walks...and stay and stay POSITIVE.

Congratulations on your BFP! Many women who have had a loss go on to have pregnancies without any further problems. Discuss your fears with your Dr. Good luck!

Congratulations on your BFP!

I haven't gotten pg since my loss, but I'm sure I'll be just as paranoid as you are. Like Kim said, talk to your doctor about your fears, they should be able to explain things and make you feel better.

Congrats, hun!!!!! what the other ladies have said! Being pregnant after a loss just seems to be even more stressful. I hope you will be able to relax after a while and start to enjoy your pregnancy! Come on over to PAL, those ladies either have all been there or are there themselves right now. We hope to have every one of our TTCAL ladies there soon!!!

I also think that it's very normal to feel the way you do. I think we'll all go through that once we get our as well.

Congratulations!! I know how hard it is to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. It was nearly impossible for me. It's so sad to be so let down after being so excited, but it's just as hard to be let down if you have been stressing the whole time, so enjoy the ride!

Took another HCG on thursday, it was 129. So that is good news. I keep having cramping on right side which worries me. I won't see doctor until after Sept 16th so hopefully then he can alleviate some of my fears....at least I hope!
