AF was due today. Sometimes she holds out till 32 days instead of 30, but I ALWAYS have spotting for a few days before she shows. Still not a sign of her. Not a cramp, not a headache...nothing. Where the heck is she. I was so sure this cycle was a bust. I went to the store today and bought a few more tests. (I'm not dipping into my post-IUI FRER stash for this. At least not yet!) and I am debating testing tomorrow (8dpo) which is when I've always been able to get a light, but clearly visible BFP before. I swore I would wait till Monday, but now I don't know.....curiosity has gotten the best of me I think.
ARRRRRGHHHH! Somebody tell me what to do! lol
ETA: AF was due today even though I am only 7dpo because I O'd late and unlike normal people, Oing late doesn't lengthen my cycle, it just seems to cut my LP short.

Has your doc mentioned anything about a LP defect? I've always read and been told that a LP shorter than 10 days can contribute to miscarriages.

Yeah, we just finally started getting medical assistance in the past month, (with anyone other than our family doc) but that's one of the things they suspect is a problem. I just got by blood work done today to confirm that. The results will be in on Monday.

I'd get a whole bunch of dollar store tests and test to keep my sanity. Then if it is a BFP, get into the doc asap.
Good luck hun!

I'd still wait a day or two to test. Just to be sure. Good luck!

Normally no, a 7 day LP isn't long enough. I used to have normal 14 day LP's. After my m/c in august last year my cycle has never been completely normal again though, and regardless of when I O AF has always shown up between CD 30 - 32 with a day or two of spotting beforehand. That's why I'm so flippin' confused! lol
If I am still sane at the end of this weekend, it'll be amazing!

Didn't test. I was too scared! lol I've been holding it now that DH is asleep and if I can hold it long enough I think I'll test tonight. Still now sign of AF either. I keep thinking she's here for sure, but when I go to check it's just CM (sorry, I know it's TMI) My boobs are so flippin sore, and I think the veins look darker (DH wasn't sure...MEN!)
I just keep reminding myself that no matter how this turns out it's a good thing. Even if I am not pregnant, I'm seeing the RE now, and my LP is getting longer! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but honestly the longer it goes with AF being MIA the more excited I get.
OH....and I've only been holding it for about an hour and a half (nothing to drink for over 3 1/2 hours) and I already feel like I need to pee! That's gotta count for something, right? I'm going to hold out as long as I possibly can though.

Sorry ladies! I had to be out the door for my RE's appointment first thing this morning. It was a crazy day. Test was neg. I'm cramping and had a bit of spotting today too. I'm pretty sure I'm out. Like I said, I went to the RE today. I'll paste in my update from the TTCMA board here.
Quote:
Well, I have very mixed emotions after my appointment today. First of all, I loved the doc. DH got his SA done and we'll have those results Wed. or Thur. We will not be trying IUI this cycle though. In fact, we won't be trying at all. So I'm out for a May and June baby. The RE was surprised that my OB?GYN didn't check or mention this at all, but with the answers I gave him to some of his questions, and my own family history, he's pretty sure that I have endometriosis, so as soon AF shows in force I've got to call back in and schedule my laparoscopy/hysteroscopy. I didn't really expect that at all, so it really took me by surprise.
If DH's SA comes back at normal levels, then next cycle we will be doing Clomid/Femara and trying on our own for a couple of cycles. If the SA shows low count, then it will be Clomid/Femara and then IUI. So now it's a waiting game.....waiting for the results of the SA to determine wither we try on our or do IUI.
Part of me is really excited, but part of me is really freaked out. I've had problems with anesthesia before, so this makes me a bit nervous. (I woke up DURING a surgery, and then they gave me too much the second time, and I was out MUCH longer than I was supposed to be.) In the end it will be worth it....It's just stressful![/b]
