We are going to start trying right after I stop bleeding. I know that yOu should wait ,but last time I had a miscarriage I got pregnant right away within two of when I started bleeding. We have been very lucky at getting pregnant ,Now we just need our little one to stick.
I am nervous ,but excited too. I miss my little one very much ,but I can not imagine not having another baby. So just in case it takes longer than we would like it too we are starting soon.

i asked my dr. why they make us wait a cycle and she told me that with a d&c they take out much of the strong uterine lining and it takes a cycle for that lining to build back up enough to carry a pregnancy. it also helps to have proper timing on the pregnancy i guess. so if you m/c'd on your own, then i think it's ok to start again, but if you had a d&c, you might want to rethink that. just trying to give you the info i got. good luck!!

I asked my OB the reasoning behind waiting and all she could say is that it "just seems right to wait." You know your body and what you are mentally ready for and I wish you all the luck!

I am so sorry about your loss. I lost a little boy last march just shy of 5 months along. I also had only given birth via csection, but my doctor REFUSED the d&c I gave birth vaginally. It took 5 days of induced labor in the hospital. Pure hell~
I am glad you were spared that. The only + was i have his foot prints and ashes. I wanted to tell you I know exactly how you feel. I wanted to be pregnant asap after the loss. I did get pregnant after one cycle (it was almost 3 months later) but lost it pretty quickly. Please talk to your doctor about the spacing to reduce the risk of another loss. Again I am so sorry my heart broke reading your posts.

I just wanted to add some hope for you!
I have had 5 m/c and my 4th was m/c was at 17w and I had him at home vaginally with a ambulance trip followed with a emerg d&c and blood transfusion after he was born.
I had first af 7w later and got pg. My son Isaiah is 11 months old! My dr said after first af I was good to go even after all that trauma! I was also given a complete exam in and out before she oked me to ttc. There is no medical reason to wait UNLESS your uteras has suffered trauma like c/s, inversion, perferation with curtage if d&c ,infection ect.
I also wanted to mention I have been pg right after a loss at 12w and once again had a d&c and She is now a healthy fun 16 yr old!
Not one of my 5 m/c's was due to getting pg to soon after a m/c
Good luck
