So I'm 6 days late, still all negatives on the HPTs.

Last year I miscarried at 13 weeks, I never had an ultrasound done (I actually m/c the day I had my u/s appt) so I have no idea what was wrong with that pregnancy.

I am reading stuff online to try and make sense of AF being so late and no BFP, and I'm wondering if I have a blighted ovum or ectopic? I am freaking out. I swear if I have another m/c I won't be able to do this again. I am so stressed out.

I am sorry to be so whiney. Not knowing is the absolute worst part. I want to have a huge margarita and sit outside but I know I shouldn't!

Enough complaining out of me!

Thanks for listening girls.

9/10/08- So I woke up at 5 am with the most excruciating pain in my right side. Then yep, you guessed it, the witch was here. I've never had pain just on one side before. I am thinking this is just a weird, messed up cycle. It was 38 days compared to my usual 28. Thank you STRESS. Let's hope I get back on track now. Thanks again girls for all of your support. I would've gone stark raving mad if I did'nt have this board!

just to put your nerves to rest with an ectopic you would have a positive hpt. I got my positive at 12 dpo with my ectopic and the pregnancy progressed normally until almost 9 weeks when the ectopic ruptured my tube, so i wouldnt worry to much about that you would have a bfp maybe your just off on your dates for ovulation????

Maybe you haven't built up enough HCG for a home test to read. Have you called the Dr. yet?

I had a blighted ovum and my hpts were very very positive too!!! i too would call your dr. some women don't get positive hpts till later. not sure why, but i've seen posts about it. they have to go get b/work done to confirm pregnancy. i hope this is it for you!!!! good luck and don't stress out. the stress can keep AF from coming too!!!

I had 2 cycles where I was up into the 40's for CD because of stress. I hope that's not the case for you Erika, but I agree with the other ladies that if it were a BO or ectopic, you'd get a positive by now.

Call the doc and see what he says.

Thanks girls. I've taken an HPT every day for past 5 days and they're all blaring BFNs. I am going to the doc at 10am today, for a different reason, but I'm gonna see if she'll do a blood test. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if I'm thrown off from stress, it's been a bad month.

well with my first ectopic i didnt see a faint BFP until i was 10 days past AF due date...so you diont always see a bfp with ectopics! I also had spotting though

I think you should go to the docs and ask for BW, im sure its nothing to worry about though xxx

I am one of those women, when I got pregnant with DD I didn't test BFP until I was 6 weeks along. My family Dr argued with me that there was no way I was pregnant so early with having just gone off the pill. I knew something was up with my body though and kept testing. Now I have b/w done regardless because I have to go to a RE to make babies.

Sorry I did not see this earlier. So, did you get the blood test done? Did you get the results yet?

I didn't get bloodwork done yet. I have been having other health issues that I've had to take care of yesterday and today and neither place would do a blood test.

I'm going to make some calls tomorrow and get this taken care of! I'll update more later.

Thanks for all your support and answers, everyone. It makes me feel better. I don't know what I'd do without you all!

Awww. I'm sorry. I thought that this was it for you. At least you can move on to the next cycle, though.
