I haven't even started thinking about Christmas yet. Been too busy stressin over my cycle. AND my FIL and his wife are flying over from Australia the first weekend in October to visit, so I've been trying to figure out what we're going to do while they are here.

I haven't even begun to think of Christmas yet. Haley's bday party is this Saturday, fingers crossed Hurricane Ike stays away. Her bday is the 17th. I don't want this stupid hurricane to ruin her party. She is so looking forward to it. Wow, my baby will be 4.

I hope Hurricane Ike stays away. I don't think they know which way it's going to go. The 17th is a great day. That is mine and DH anniversary as well. I hope she has a wonderful day. They grow up so fast, don't they???

I am already counting down for Christmas. I love it. It i will be a little sad this year I was supposed to be due a little after Christmas. I have bought a couple things already. I normally wait until my son's birthday is over ( spet. 28th) and then I really start shopping !!!!. If I start shopping any sooner I forget sometimes what I buy and I go way over board

I love Christmas so I am already looking forward to it. I always try to plan out Connor's presents because his birthday isn fairly close to Christmas (October). I pick things up and then decide if it is for Christmas or his birthday. I am trying to decide between a Leapster hand held game or a V.Smile Pocket. Does anyone have an opinion on these?

I agree Jen, I don't have the funds right now for Christmas! My mom is done I think for our family in Newfoundland. I usually go to the Body Shop for them and only spend $10-$15 per person, but I've cut out a lot of family over the last two years. Some people might just be getting a card this year.

If I get preggo within the next few months, that'll add even more stress to my bank account! Because I'll start buying things early so it doesn't hurt me as much.

We made the decision a while ago that we don't buy for most adults at Christmas. We buy for my BIL and SIL and we get stocking stuffers for each other. It's all about the kids for us. It's funny, but I think my son has picked up Christmas fever from me. Lately he's been asking me to read him Christmas stories at bedtime. I've read T'was The Night Before Christmas the last three nights...lol

We're the same way, Laurie. Well, I am anyway. I stopped buying for certain adults, others I have to, because they literally get out of their beds when we go there for vacation, so I've got to thank them somehow.
