I am so excited. DH and I always said we only wanted two children, but that changed for me when we lost our daughter. I'm not sure why, but suddenly I want three children. I've mentioned it to DH several times over the last couple of months and he just grumbles about money and space. I have been wishing that my son would be closer in age to his siblings (at best, he will be almost 5 years older than the next one), so if we decide to have two more, I want them closer in age. I decided that I needed to know where DH was sitting on the subject, so I asked him to rate how he felt about having two more children on a scale of 1- 10. He said 5! I am so happy because this gives me hope. LOL. Sorry, I just wanted to share that because I am just so excited!

im really pleased hes at least half way to giving in to your demands. we all know he will give in completely soon enough
mine just says "whatever you want is fine. whatever happens happens though so dont get stressed over it" he knows better than to limit how many children i can have cos il stop his nuptuals if he tries
xx

Lol, I'm glad he's at least thinking about it!

I have the hardest time deciding if Cora counts in how many children I want to have. I've said 5 since I was about 10. lol. I honestly don't know if Cora counts in that number.

But here's hoping by the time it's important he's liking the idea of another!

Thats wonderful!!!

When I told my DH how many children I wanted to have he about fell off his rocker. I just have to be thankful that he agreed to one!

I feel funny when I say "I want x number of children" because it feels like I am not including her. If I have three living children, then I will always classify myself as a mother to four children. It's when I am asked how many I have that I would say three because of the use of the present tense. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is complicated for me, too. I know that I want my son to have at least one living sibling to grow-up with and to provide a connection to our family when DH and I are gone, so if I had stopped after Eva I wouldn't be fulfilling that wish, KWIM? It is complicated emotionally though, isn't it?

LOL. My mother went to a psychic a few weeks ago and was told that I would have twins, or more precisely "One more pregnancy, but two more children". Twins don't run in my family, but identical twins aren't hereditary, so I'm told.... Hmmm
