Job Interview

I'm leaving for my job interview in about 30 minutes. It's scheduled at 3pm. I decided to apply at Bath & Body Works for Christmas help. The store is just a block down the road from me. I turned my application in to the store manager last week. She told me I had good experience, and that she would call me for an interview this week.

WISH ME LUCK!!!! Please?

It's not a big paying job, but at least it's something to hold me over until I find something that pays more. Las Vegas is kind of BLAH when it comes to jobs. The unemployment rate is pretty high here. So anything is better than nothing.

I will update this when I get back to let you all know how it went.

I currently work in retail, too (but only for one more month or so) and it can be a lot of fun at times, you meet some really neat people.

It was alright... not sure what to think. It was a group interview. There were six of us and we were interviewed in a group setting. Never had an experience like that before. Right now, the job is only one or two days a week... and then as it gets closer to Christmas, the hours pick up. That is actually good for me. I'll be able to get a better paying full-time job if I get the job at Bath & Body Works. It's a 20% discount you get at B&BW and Victoria's Secret.

I hope to hear back from them. It would be next week or the week after that. So in the mean time, I'm going to apply at more casinos.

I think it would be fun to work at a casino though. I love to people watch, and their are a lot of crazy people at casinos!!!

Some girl was killed in the reception area at Bally's two weeks ago. I couldn't even imagine witnessing that. I have worked in hotels for a few years and have seen all sorts of crazy things. Casinos would just be crazier. My attention span would be much bigger. I just applied at three different casinos for Front Desk Agents. I have many more to do, but those applications are very time consuming. My poor little fingers feeling like they are going to fall off.
