Is there any test that you can buy to tell if all my HCG hormones are out of my system. Can I just take a pregnancy test .

A little info. Had a d&c thursday September the 4th. I really can not afford having blood drawn again.

After I lost my dd I used a ton of dollar store tests to see when the hcg was out of my system. It was fairly cheap enough to check and see. Mine stayed positive for nearly 6 weeks though, but I was 27w5d when I gave birth. When the test was really dark I would wait a few days and check again. It began fading and finally I got a bfn. Then I switched to opk's to see when I got my surge. I didn't O that first month, but af showed up almost as soon as the line went negative. Hope that helps a little.

I didn't do anything, since I had a follow up with the doctor, they checked two weeks (give or take) after my d&c and it was neg. Rhonda's idea is a really good one.

I forgo to add. When I had my miscarriage(natural) about 2.5 years ago I Did ovulate right away,because I got pregnant before my next period showed up.

Hard to say, because I think it really depends - each person is different. But, I actually ovulated 11 days after my D&C My body was back on track immediately.

I wouldn't say its a sure thing that you'll ovulate right away, but there is a definite possibility that you'll ovulate in the next few days. Since your body went back to normal right away before (when you got pg 2.5 years ago), it may do the same thing again.

I'm not sure what to say. I O'd within a week of my m/c and AF showed up 2 weeks after that. But I did get a dark BFP 2 days before my m/c (I suspected something was wrong and tested).

Well I went out an spent the money on the test stripes to show ovulation (can not think of the name right now ). I bought the answer 20 pack. So I am just going to start doing one everyday. This is the first time that I have used them. So we shall find out .Hopefully good news in a few days.
