After watching a sickening, horrific, gutt wrenching Oprah Winfrey show yesterday about child sexual abuse, including infants for pornography enjoyment, I feel compelled to ask for your help. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THIS MESSAGE. THIS IS HAPPENING ALL ACROSS THE USA ONLINE!!!! If you saw the show, you know exactly what i'm talking about. I NEVER watch TV in the daytime and I turned it on while I was cleaning out my closet.

Sick Sick people are filming sexual abuse on children (from age infant to teens) and selling it on the internet. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING in widespread. Law enforcement can't keep up with it. There are not enough dollars. So Oprah has urged us "mothers" or "mothers to be" to make a difference.

There is a Bill going through the US Senate and it's a Bill increasing the funds to Protect Our Children and put more law enforcement out there to catch these sick people.

PLEASE GO TO OPRAH.COM. THERE IS A LINK YOU CLICK ON CALLED "PROTECT OUR CHILDREN ACT". You then click on the US Senate Link to find your state Senators email. This is very easy to do. Oprah then has a letter right under the US Senate Link that you copy and email to your State Senators supporting the Bill. It's easy ladies, and our children NEED our help!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE go there. TAke the time, it's important. Our babies and future babies need to be safe, as well as our fellow mothers babies. Internet preditors are increasing faster that we realize. It's mind boggling!!!

Sadly its in Canada as well my mom has been a front runner with Social services for almost 35 yrs and goes to court on these and many other horiffic cases of domestic and child abuse!
It's her job to help these moms and children get their lives back.

It not shocking for me I have been aware of it for my whole life.

I know some cases that would make you vomit from the abuse..its a sick sick world at
times

This is why I chose to work in the field. I do I can help prevent some of these cases.

I've said this before on here but my DH is a police officer and he sometimes works in the internet crime lab (which is why I don't divulge much info about him or pics on here). Anyway, he will log onto chat rooms etc with the profile of a 13 yr old girl and within 5 minutes he will have 5 guys over age 35 talking to him and making advances (asking for pics, showing pics, etc). They can't be arrested for all that gross stuff, but often they want to meet or they send child porn....then they're in trouble. I'm definitely proud of him when he catches someone (one guy was a middle school counselor) but he doesn't even really talk to me about it because the stuff they say to him on chat is so lewd. Needless to say, our daughter won't have much online freedom when she's older .

Where's that barfing face? Child (and animal) abusers make me absolutely sick to my stomach. If I ever met one face to face, I would wind up in jail for what I would do to them (God HELP them if they ever touch my son, it would be certain, immediate death for the m effer!)

OMG I can't imagine what your DH has going through his mind when he's talking to these "people". That must be tough on him, but I'm glad he's taking some of them off the streets.

I'm going to go read up on it, but I have one question: Does it also make provisions for helping parents protect their children at home, not just for prosecuting/catching abusers? After all, if we are vigilant in keeping our young children safe, internet creeps CAN'T abuse them. So while it's a great thing to spend more effort trying to catch the creeps, it's only half the solution.

((I understand a lot of the creeps ARE the parents in many cases...ugh))

I think you are thinking of the abuse in a different way and yes the way you are thinking is bad too...

but this is all about people abusing their own children or someone they know and FILMING it. Then they sell it on the internet as pornography for other sick-o's to view!!!! it's really really really sick, but it's booming all across the US.

Please go to the site and send the letter to your Senator!!!! THESE SICK O'S HAVE GO TO BE CAUGHT!!! HELP OUR CHILDREN IN THE US!!!! (and by help "our" children, i'm not necessarily referring to your child in specific but our children as a whole).
