i had my D&C done on September 4th. I bleed heaving for one week ,then about every other day I bleed for another couple days. Well since Tuesday I have not bleed at all. Today I went to bathroom and some brown discharge and now it has gone to a darker pink. I have period like cramps .

My question is , is it still bleeding from my miscarriage or could my period of already started up again. I thought it would of taken alot longer. I know I have not ovulated because I have been temping and doing those ovulation stripes for practice .

So what do you think girls !!!

It could still be from the m/c. For me af showed 4 or 5 weeks after I had the d&c.

Well that is what I thought, I just don't understand why I stopped for 3 days and then start bleeding again.

The very same thing happened to me, It's probably just spotting from the d&c. From what everyone says, I'm not expecting to get AF until it's been 4 to 5 weeks. (Mine was 8/28)

Don't have an explanation for it. Our bodies do things that I can't even start to understand. It's probablyjust spotting for nthe d&c. I remember with mine, the firts day after, it was very light bleeding, the next day I went to work, and I started bleeding like there was no tomorrow, then that weekend, when I did not do naything, it went back to spotting and I went back to work and that spotting was heavier for a while.

I read somewhere once, that the rule of thumb is 21 days of no bleeding. Then the next bleed counts as AF ofically.

I hope the bleeding stops so you can get back on track. It sounds like it's too soon to be AF already, but I don't really know. Did they test your hcg levels? If they were really low before your m/c maybe you are getting AF already. I dont know if that would make sense. Just a guess. I got AF about 35 days from the day of my D&C. Good luck hun.

I did take a pregnancy test( last weekend) to see if the hormones were still picking up and i got a clear BFN.

I do think you girls are right though. It pretty much stayed a brown discharge. I know that you can bleed for awhile. I am just wishing and hoping that it would stop and get back to normal . I so badly want my period to come . Isn't that so funny. Normally we want nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately, we are used to sending out AF dust around here . I hope you get it soon and get back on track! Good luck!

my af recently came 28 days after my d&c. so i think it's still part of the m/c. i kept up with my normal routine after the procedure and the bleeding kept coming. but when i tried to take it a bit easier after my d&c, the bleeding stopped. not sure if that might help you. good luck!! and I"M so sorry for your loss!!!
