As an ex-smoker, I want to give a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS and YOU GO GIRL to Sarah for being smoke free for 3 weeks!! I know how hard it is and I just want to say keep it up!   I have no idea what this little blue sign thing means, but isn't it cute?

thanks girls 
i was just talking about it with my other half last night and he was saying he didnt think i would manage as i always fail before 2 weeks but monday will be 4 so he is really proud of me (so nice to know what faith he has in me!  )
i think what im finding even more special about this time is im stopping BEFORE im pregnant where as every other time ive stopped because i AM pregnant. makes a huge difference to me so im hoping it makes a difference to ttc too!

Congrats!! 
I know how hard it can be, I quit smoking 3 years ago. This is awful, but I smoked for 6 years. Age 12-18. 1/2 pack-a pack a day. I finally had the -right- motivation to quit. My husband. Our relationship moved quickly, we moved in together after 3 months and started TTC shortly after (I know, I know, but when you *know* you *know*! lol) so I quit smoking and we started TTC and got pregnant with DD 8 cycles after! (not charting, just not preventing) Hopefully now that you've quit you'll be a little more relaxed and your eggo will get preggo  Good Luck, girl!

thanks girls.
i had a row with mark about it today as i said that if he stopped too then it would have been much easier and also it would have been better for his heart (but yet again he says "hes not ready" to quit  )
im still sticking to it though and ive warned the kids that mark is still not allowed to smoke in the house when im not here next week.
oh and the best news... im now at the point that i cant kiss him just after he has had a *** (i have to wait at least 30 mins) because the smell gets to me
he doesnt think thats something to celebrate but i do

Oh, and here's a link for you, on the effects of smoking (and quitting) on fertility. I looked it up because you said in an earlier post you felt good about quitting before becoming pregnant.
So here you go, I want you to feel encouraged (according to them, you have a 40% greater chance of conceiving if you're not smoking)
