I met my BFF Lindsay in high school. I was actually best friends with a girl named Julie, and she went on a biology trip to the Bahamas and became friends with Lindsay who was in the same class. When they got back we all hung out together and Linds and I realized we were two peas in a pod! Unfortunately her and her new husband moved to Phoenix, but plan on moving to the Chicago area within a year or two. I love her and miss her so much!

I know this sounds cliché, but my true BFF is my DH. We met right after high school while working at pizza hut. that was in 1997. We were friends, and even lived together as friends (with one other person) from 1997 - 2000. In 2000 we started dating, and in 2004 we were married.

I have two very close girl friends too. We had know each other in high school, but it wasn't until 2000 that we got reacquainted.

My story is crazy. In college freshman year, I lived in a "suite" in the dorms. It had 2 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. I was the only freshman out of 4 girls. I liked the other girls but wasn't close to them. One day in September, one of the roomies got hit by a bus - just didn't step back far enough on the curb and got clipped by the corner of the bus. She ended up with a broken pelvis and a broken leg, but nothing life threatening. Anyway, they gave her spot in the room to someone who had been on the waiting list - Karen. Karen and I have always said we were fated to become best friends...because really, who could even make this stuff up?

We have been BFFs for over 18 years. And yes, I did tell that story in my speech at her wedding!!

I met my BFF Maureen when I was a sophomore in HS...she was a junior and had just moved to town from Cali...I had twisted my ankle and had to sit out dance class and she was a cheerleader back in Cali so they put her in dance class to be our manager during football games (she had already missed tryouts so couldn't be on the team...but wanted something to do with dance)...I introduced myself and from that point on we were joined at the hip...until I joined the USAF...but we still talk just about everyday...I love her!
