I got those types of things in the mail all the time before we moved. I'm not signing up for any type of mailings next pregnancy.

ugh, so sorry, that must be tough. I'm hoping that doesn't happen to me, but I signed up for a lot. (Actually, I do get FitPregnancy and Parenting magazines).

Sometimes I wonder if hospital's L&D shares records with anywhere else. I mean, that mailer would come from L&D, and they might not have gotten told you had a loss. Stupid people. Call them and yell at someone.

On the DAY that Cora would have been a month old, I got a coupon package from enfamil titled "Cuddling your one month old." Um, yeah, how's that for a knife in the gut? Even though I called, I got one a month for the next 6 months. And I called after every one. After the 6th one, I finally yelled at the guy and told him that she had been stillborn, and I had called to get them to stop mailing me every month for 6, and they hadn't stopped and I didn't appreciate the monthly reminder that I didn't have a baby, and I probably wasn't ever going to buy enfamil because of it. He was very polite, and I never got another one again.

So, yeah, call and yell at someone. It'll make you feel better.

Wow, your right, they shouldn't have sent that to you. I would call and complain too, there might be others in your area having to face the same thing, and the hospital should be aware of the sensitive nature of those reminders.
