Does anyone know if being sick (just a general stuffy cold/sore throat) could possibly affect Oing or implantation? I was suppossed to O Thursday or Friday, and I'm PRETTY sure that I did, and DF and I dtd, but then Saturday I came down with a horrid cold and I'm worried that it might have made things off or it might have screwed with implantation...is that even possible? I'm such a worry wart!!

I think I read somewhere that getting sick after Oing is normal, because your body lowers your immune system in order to allow the baby to implant without rejection. HTH, I was sick and got pregnant....

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm so paranoid about every little thing lately!

I hope it doesn't affect ovulation or implantation. I really don't think it does. Last year when I got pg with my loss, I kept getting cold sores and my doc said it was b/c my immune system was lowered due to pg, so maybe it's a good sign for you!
