TWO more clients TODAY with pg loss...One at 32w and another at 16w ..Wow God has such a way of refocasing my attention off my troubles and reaching out to others in such a time of need.

My heart is just breaking to add 2 more ladies to my client list.

Well today was not as bad for me as I thought it would be.

I did break down and look at Angle's last liveing u/s pics and one had her waveing you could see her hand and fingers perfectly and the tech wrote on..*hi Family!* ...Wow that really slammed me.. I had a good cry and feel better. I know God has a plan and I know he will pour out his blessing sooner or later and that has given me such peace in this journey.

Anyway's that's how my day has been.

DH is gone right now he had to pick 16 yr dd up from her Orchastra(sp) practice. She plays Violin for them as well as in Praise and Worship team at church

So I am grabbing a few min to let you all know I lived through today lol

I am glad that you made it though such a difficult day. It does seem interesting how God seems to know how to distract us from our own problems and difficulties just when we think we won't make it through. I am also glad that you are currently at peace with your journey, however, I'm praying that God decides to bless you sooner, rather than later!

Hugs to you!! There is nothing like a good cleansing cry.

I am curious though, how did you get into this? Did you volunteer at your hospital or something and what exactly do you do? I would love to help others with their losses. Is there special training to go through or something? Any info would be great. Although I don't know how helpful I would be right now while I am pg, but maybe after I bring this baby home I could be more help.

Big hugs for you though, I imagine the day was extremely hard even without 2 more losses to think about. You are a very strong women and I am sure your angel is very proud of momma!

Thanks so much ladies!!!!!! I acually did way better then I thought I would.

I am looking forword to that *sooner* then later pg LOL

MrsPoe. I do this as a free ministry. I am a DONA trained Doula. I useally work with teens and young mom's with low income and little support. I created and direct the teen Doula program in our Cummunity. I am paid thro the ministry of Social Services family and childrens dept.

I also work with our local Health unit and I get my referrals for loss from them. My other mom's are referred through a Social worker and the Health unit. I took a DONA grief support Doula course. So I guess anyone can do it but I do it in a Doula capacity with my Doula training as I also do*births* as I call them with ladies haveing m/c, fetal demise and stillbirths.

My DR started to refere me her patience for loss as a favor to her then it grew from there. My Dr has been my same Dr for the last 8 yrs and did my last 5 births as well as last 4 m/c's. So she felt I was experinced enough to help her patience and asked if I would do this for her.

I hope that helps. I live in Canada so thing run very differnt her when it comes to medical/health units and Social services . They are all closely connected and NO Faith based funding in any of those area's. It is all under Goverment.
