Hey Girls,

Just wanted to let you know why I haven't been posting. First of all, it took awhile for me to figure out my new password, I don't know why, so I am finally able to post today.

And my Grandpa passed away on Saturday. I was pretty wiped out last week b/c I had to go to physical therapy and then the dentist. Something kept telling me to go back home to Wisconsin, but I had to go to these appointments. Then Friday morning after the dentist I told Zack I had to go. So after a 3 hour drive, I went to my grandparents house and a lot of people were there. My Gramps was kinda out of it but I was talking to him and he smiled so I knew he knew it was me. (I was his favorite granddaughter, his only granddaughter!) Then Saturday I woke up early to get some stuff done and planned to bring a webcam over so he could see my brother that's in the Navy stationed in Guam. But as I was getting ready to go, my Dad called and said he passed away.

My grandma said he looked out the window and had a big smile on his face. He died surrounded by his family with his favorite dog right by his side.

This has been so hard. The funeral is Thursday and I will be going back to Chicago on Friday.

I've missed you all.

Oh, and I should be testing today or tomorrow but I kinda have mild cramps and I don't want to go out and buy a test b/c I have a million back at home, so I"ll update you if AF is late after today. Wish me luck. Maybe gramps will be watching over and he'll give me a bfp!

I am so glad that you were able to get back to see your grandpa. I am so sorry for you loss of him. It is always hard to lose a grandparent..

I'm glad you were able to spend that little bit of time with him before he went Home. I know that will forever keep a smile on your face, knowing he smiled at you and he knew you were there.
