Hey all,

So I got my hcg drawn last Tuesday to make sure progesterone was not low (since we still don't know the reason for my first two m/c)...my levels were Hcg - 18 and progesterone - 24, so far so good.

Yesterday I had them drawn for a second time and they were Hcg - 550 (YAY!) and progesterone - 16.9 ( )

I spoke with the doc and he says not to panic, we will drawn blood again tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about that big progesterone drop but I've never had progesterone drawn in the past so I'm not familiar with normal fluxuations etc. Any thoughts?

You shouldn't have anything to worry about. They don't like to see the level drop, but your level isn't that bad yet and if they see that they go down again, they can give you supplements for it that you take through the first trimester. I am glad that your doctor is taking good care of you and please keep us updated. Your hcg number is great!

I don't know much about progesterone, but if your doc is already monitoring you, then I'd say to not stress about it. I know, easier said than done! But by the looks of it, your doc is taking really good care of you! I'm sure he/she wouldn't mind answering your question about it if the level continues to drop, or stays the same.

I agree, sounds like your doc is on top of things. And probably isn't overly concerned because your hcg is going up nicely. If it is low again, they will give you progesterone to take.

That is excellant that your dr is takeing such good care of you! I agree I wouldnt worry as much if it get lower you can easily suppliment it.
