So I had my first scan today and I was a nervous wreck while I was waiting, i got there 20 minutes early so I would not be late, but only to find that they were running behind. My appointment was at 10:40 and I didnt go in until about 11:15

When I went in, the lady scanning me was the same lady who scanned me before when I had the ectopic, she was really sweet and congratulated me, i thought it was sweet that she remembered me. Anyway, I was really scared and I was trying not to cry but she must have seen I was nervous and asked me if I was ok. I then burst into tears and told her I was scared ect....she was really nice, and she said as soon as she saw baby she would tell me.


I was watching her face while she was doing it, she had a really serious look on her face, but then she started to smile. She then turned the screen around.........

They couldnt find a cause for the bleeding I had and baby is perfect

He/she is measuring 3mm and is measuring right on time according to my dates , and he/she has a STRONG heartbeat. She showed me the heart beating and I burst into tears again. They even gave me my photos for free they are usually £4 each the baby is the white blob nex to the circle (the yolk sac)

I have got an appointment for another scan on 6th November, I will be about 11 weeks then. I cant wait to see my bean again

I am so excited for you! That is fantastic and I am so glad you got to see your perfect little bean with a hb. I can't wait to see our little one's hb and I know that I will be a nervous wrck and start bawling as soon as we see it! Have you had any more bleeding?

Congrats hun. I"m so glad that baby is doing wonderfully and that you got to see him/her and hear the heartbeat. I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and I hope you will keep us updated on how you are doing. Congrats again. I'm soooo very happy for you and your family.
