Hey ladies. I am back from Race from the Cure. My mom just left a little while ago. It is such an amazing and moving experience. My mom beat breast cancer last year and this is the second year that we walked together. There were men, women and children of all ages everywhere. There were 50,000 people there all walking for one common cause and that's to find a cure for Breast Cancer and to honor the brave women that have beat this aweful disease and in memory of those that we have lost. They have a group of men that don't want to walk called 3 Miles of Men and they spread out along the 3 mile course and are there to cheer us on it's sooo amazing to see. They were all there hollering for us and giving us high fives. It was awesome. If you have never done it and have the chance, try it just once. It really really touched my heart. I am soooo very thankful to still have my mom and I can't imagine all those ladies there who were walking for loved ones that they lost. I walked for those people that lost the fight, those that beat it and the future women who will have to go through it. Here are a few pics. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.
