I am debating whether to get the vaccine or not. I work at a hospital and both my kids are in school so I know my risks are higher. The only time I have ever taken the flu shot is when I was in the military and it was mandatory. I have a call into my doctor to see what he recommends. I have been doing some reading and it is kind of mixed reviews. I could be pregnant right now and not know it because it's to early, I'm only 9DPO. I am just wondering what ya'll are going to do? If I'm pregnant, I would hate to get the Flu in the next few months and it be worse because I didn't get the shot. I just don't know what to do????????????????
UPDATE
Well I talked to my Dr and he said that if there is a possibility of me being pregnant or if I was already in the first Trimester, that I definately should NOT take the vaccine. He said it is fine in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Thanks for responding. I am just worried about getting it this season working in the hospital and all.
