ok so i am a test-a-phobic - i have a fear of hpts!!!! the first step is admitting it (whew)... well here is how i look at it. if i test and i get a bfn, then i'm bummed and then i wait for AF, which sucks, and i'm bummed again. if i wait, and AF shows, then i'm only bummed once and i don't have to then "wait" for AF to come.
well i have always been curious if a bfp would register at 10dpo and i'm 10dpo today. SO, i got up this morning, broke out a FRER (cause they don't get evaps) and i tested, with the test window facing away from me. I counted for 15 seconds in the pee and then i put the little plastic cap over the dip area and i put it high on a shelf where i couldn't see it. there it sits!!!! so in four more days when i get my bfp (positive thinking hey?) i can look back and see if it registered on the FRER at 10 dpo.
NOW HOW NUTS IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and please don't anyone try to convince me to go look at it, cause i won't... i can't.... it's against my policy of being a test-a-phobic.
okay, i have admitted in insanity and now i'm going to eat!!!!! ahahahahah please pray the test sitting on the top of the shelf is a bfp!!!! although we won't know till monday or AF's arrival. but she's not coming!!!

So do you think you could pull it down, take a picture, upload it to photbucket or whatever and post it here with your eyes closed? You'd never have to know!

Well, I don't know how you can stand it. I would be looking right away. I got a BFP at 10dpo, so it can happen. If you take a peek, please tell us. I'm not sure I can wait til Monday....

Wow, you are a brave woman!!!!! I'm not a testaholic either, I've always tested on the day af was late. But if I had one just sitting there on the shelf....... wow I would be tempted to peak!

i really don't have much of a desire to look... i don't want to be bummed. so i'll just stay positive - knowing that there is a second line up on that shelf and when AF stays away, i'll take another to confirm it!!!! oh i love this positive thinking!!!!

you gals just completely crack me up!!!!! i think you should all try it next time you're 10DPO and see how long it takes you to look... you gotta use a FRER though cause they typically don't get evaps. common who wants to try???? i think i've started something here... actually you are all telling me you have no willpower... maybe you have more than you think...

I did something similar last pg. AF was late but my inlaws were here so i didnt know she was "late" so i POAS to get her to come. and left the house with it sitting on the back of my toilet. I came home, and went to throw it away, and as it hit the trashcan i saw the 2 lines!! I started bawling.
