Since AF just started back after D&C.
What have you found to be the best way to find out your ovulation schedule.
I am one of those people who has never had a clue when I ovulate, but when TTC I want to make sure I know so I can hopefully keep the TTC timeframe short.

Some ladies use OPKs, temp, check their cervix, amongst other things during their fertile window. I personally don't do anything, I think since it's your first cycle, take it easy and DTD every other day from CD10 until CD20 just to make sure you caught the eggie, it gives you a large timeframe for sure. If you want to go longer, go longer! No harm done!
Good luck!!!

Well I was just wondering. I am not allowed to TTC for a total of 4 cycles or my OB might kill me. I have some medical probs that we need to make sure are back under control before trying for round 2.
But thanks that gives me a base to start with once we get to that point.

I just look at this:
http://www.babyhopes.com/pages.php?pageid=23
it tells you when you 'should' be ovulating according to your cycle. I'm not into the whole charting/temping/cm checking type of ttc so we are just gonna bd and have fun and when it happens it happens

I chart and use OPKs and I love doing both because my temps verify that I do O when the OPKs say I do.

I strongly recommend charting and using OPKs (as charting will only indicate after you've ovulated). If you start to chart now, over the next 4 months you'll really get to know your body. I also highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It tells you everything about charting and recognizing your fertile window.
Good luck!

I agree, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" is a great book, I read it cover to cover. You can also check on www.fertilityfriend.com, they will email you daily tutorials and I believe you get 30 days free.
Good Luck and feel free to ask any questions along the way!
