So, I am having a bad day.

I would love to hear any funny stories or jokes or anything that has happened to you ladies lately!

I'll start...

I took my son and daughter to a pumpkin patch on Tuesday. We were doing all the normal (at least around here) things that you do at a pumpkin patch. We did the maze, hayride, playground, and we moved on to pet the farm animals. My children were really fond of a little goat they found and were sitting down next to it and feeding it. I thought it would make a cute picture, so I told my kids to look up and smile. That's when I discovered that my son's tattling phase has gone a little too far. He yelled, "Mommy, the goat won't look at the camera!" Then he asked if goats knew how to count (in our house, you have to sit on the steps and count to an appropriate number when you are put in time-out). I just thought it was so funny that my 3 year old told on A GOAT!

See pic...

I think that I just aged myself for saying bust a move

My son did that the other day too!! I thought, what in the world would possess you to tell on an animal!?!?! He hollered from the other room, "Mom, Fez threw his toy on the back of the couch, and had to step up on it to get it!" Like I was going to punish the dog for stepping up on the couch. If he'd got up there and laid down, maybe, but not for stepping on it realy quick to get his toy.

My parents went to see the movie Passchendaele the other day (WWI movie) and the lady they sat next to was the grandmother of one of the actors. She had to leave the movie before the battle scenes started 'cause she couldn't bear the thought of her grandson in a war. I found this more touching than funny, but still amusing.

I find that so touching too, yet still kind of funny. You know in a sweet old grandmother kind of way. My gran would do the same thing!
