So, Heath woke up this morning to his windshield (on his 2004 Pontiac GTO!!!!!!!!) covered in paint. That's right. Our dumb neighbors next door to us at the old ghetto place shot his car with a paintball gun. Talk about cowards!! It was a long day. We had the cops over at 6:30am. They knocked on their door, but only the younger sister was home. The cop told her to come outside. She was crying. It was actually pretty hilarious! The cop wanted to talk to the older sister. Who is, mind you, 29 years old!! I mean, really, grow up. The younger sister (21) said that her sister won't be done with work until 2pm. The cop told us to call them back after we got home from work so they could talk to the childish 29 year old. When we finally got "home" tonight after signing our lease and running errands (around 8pm), the ghetto neighbors were not home. We finally got our necessities out of the ghetto place around 10pm. They still weren't home. It looks like someone was too afraid to come home tonight. I guess now they know how we have felt since the day we moved in!!!!!!! Oh, and talk about guilty behavior.
This isn't over yet. They have to come home sometime.
We still have our boxes and furniture at the old place. We just bought a queen sized air mattress so we didn't have to spend another night there. Who knows what they would have done to our car tonight. And, of course, we KNOW it was them. Heath's car was the only one hit. It wasn't some random, teenage drive by. My car wasn't touched because it was in our assigned stall under a bright light.
It's just so irritating that people do this to personal property that civilized people work hard to pay for.
I did get a huge laugh out of the crying though.
Oh, and our new place is SO FREAKING QUIET!!!! I almost started crying for a second when I was first putting some things away. The only thing we can hear is the occasional airplane landing or taking off. We are only a few miles from the airport though. I grew up around an airport, so the airplanes are actually relaxing. I'm just honestly amazed at how quiet this place is. I feel like I'll actually get a full night's rest before our big move tomorrow!
Not to mention, I feel nauseated as heck right now.
