Can I vent for a second?

Hi! I hate venting, but I really need to blow off some steam! Sorry! DF has been away on business for the past week. His flight got in tonight a little before 12. Last night when we talked he said he would text me as soon as he landed or at least as soon as he got to the car so that I could go to sleep and not be worried (I'm a huge worrier

). When I hadn't heard from him by 12:30, I called him, and he didn't answer. I called back about 10 minutes later and he answered and was just like, "oh yeah, I'm in the car on the road so I couldn't text you. I figured I would call when I got back into town" (he isn't staying here tonight because he was getting back so late). He remembered that he said he would text me, but just didn't get around to it. I understand that it is late and that he just wanted to get back, but really, how long does it take to send a quick text saying "I'm back"? Argh!
