I've always known that the Duggars live ten minutes from my house, but I never realized that our water comes from the same plant! So I drink Duggar water! Anyone need me to ship a sample? lol!

Yes, I am jealous! There are constantly a topic of controversy around here. But as someone who was home schooled, and grew up Pentecostal (though I claim no formal religion now, only informal) I love big families, and you know there is power in numbers. Their house is beautiful! He is a politician, though I can't remember his official position. I didn't vote him, simply because I'm a democrat not because he has 20 some odd kidos. The eldest Duggar just got married and they intend to have as many children as God will allow them. Mrs. Duggar is a pro-VBAC mamma and has done a lot with her star power to try and lift the VBAC ban in NWArkansas. Currently no hospitals will willingly perform one, however, she has had them done time and time again. So I have switched to the womans hospital that she uses. I plan to talk to my GYNO in a few weeks about it. I'll say something like, "I know my uterus isn't a seasoned veteran like Mrs. Duggar's, but do you think it would be possible to have a VBAC here?" lol ... I might not say it word for word... but it is my hope that I can have a VBAC. There is a local underground community of VBAC-wannabe's in the area. There are meetings, positions, and everything...

Just lurking, it's a sleepless preggo night for me The Duggars is the best show ever!!! Those children are so well behaved. If my parenting skills are that great and my children act as politely as the Duggar's children, I might go ahead and have 17 There is NO way I could live without TV and internet (JM especially)!

their one of a kind. I'll be curious to see how the kidos do as adults. It might be hard living with that last name, but you never know. I've seen some children who grew up in very religious and restricted homes, leave and go buck wild (my personal experience) ... so - perhaps one day at the bar everyone will go "yes that's a Duggar swinging from the pole," though I hope not.
I certainly don't want, and couldn't have that many. I wanted a BIG family, but since Logan's death I have changed my mind. I used to want to be a SAHM, for the time during which my children were at home. But now I want to have a career and a degree, with a smaller family. I used to think I'd accomidate my family, now I think I want a more equal balance. I give to them, I give to my career, and I give to me, my husband, ect. There is no ONE right way, its different for everyone, and I might change my mind a few times between here and there.
