I am not sure what to even think?

He called to the Vancouver Genesis clinic and talked to a Dr there about my results and he suggest we go straight to IVF! He wanted me down there ASAP!

I was speachless IVF!! What Hat was that pulled out of?!? I think my DR was just trying to find the fasted way possable for us to get pg at this point.

My Clomid challange results were ok for my age, Howevever he felt that since I was only 38 I had the best odds to get pg via IVF ..I think this other Dr smelled a nice fat succsess RATE to add to his stats!

Anyways my Dr said he thinks a couple more rounds of clomid may do the trick and if not pg move to IUI with injects..Whew thats more like it LOL.

So my Fertility protocal will be clomid 100 mg ,cycle days 1 through 5 and if not pg by next cycle I can chose to do 2 more rounds of clomid OR move straight to injectables if I want. He gave my a script for 3 more rounds.

IF I chose to do injectables I go back to RE I seen that started me on the clomid challange in Sept. Right now I am seeing my OB whom RE had refered me back to unless IUI was eventually explored.

I am glad I have 2 GREAT Dr s behind me and willing to set up reasonable protocals untill we achieve our goal!

They both are trying to hurry this along as they know we want a few more kids and time is fast running out.

ETA: Ohh and I got another blareing BFP OPK today! I just tested again at 6:30 tonight and still BFP. This has been a 36 hour surge so far.

I'm so happy that you have two doctors that are willing to help you so much!!! That's wonderful!!! I hope the Clomid works so you don't need an IUI or IVF!

Bring on the sets of twins!!!!!!

That's great 2 great drs....twins should be fun. GL, hope Clomid works so you don't have to go thru IVF or IUI YAY for BFP on OPK
