ok here it goes:!
I miscarried about 2 1/2 weeks ago! I bled for 4 days and it stopped. The doctor thought I miscarried earlier that week and it took about 4 to 5 days before I started bleeding.. well any ways, my husband and I had sex two days before I started bleeding.... He did go inside of me! We thought I was still pregnant! When I started bleeding All of my symptoms officially went away (and my HCG levels were back to normal) well 3 days after it stopped my symptoms started to come back! My grandma (who is a nurse) says you can get pregnant within a day or two after you miscarried! And honestly that was the only time we had sex (its been almost 3 weeks since then). Is that possible to get pregnant that fast? What do you think my chances are? What is your opinion?

I was also 5 1/2 weeks along!
One more thing.. they did an ultrasound at 5 1/2 weeks along and they told me I have a backwards uterus.. Do you think it could be possible they couldn't see the baby bc of that?

Hmmm...unless a new egg has floated out of your ovaries, I doubt it could happen. Your bleeding and your uterus is shedding it's lining, which is what keeps the baby connected to you. Have you taken any tests? Gone back to your doctor recently?

I wish I could be of more help!!!! Good luck!!!

I would say no, I've never heard anything like that. I would think it's almost physcially impossible.

Im gonna say not possible. you still have remaning HCG in your blood and urine for weeks after your miscarriage starts. So IMO its remaning from your last pregnancy.

Hmmm, I don't know about so soon like that, hun. I did get pg right away after a m/c, but it was around a wk and a half later. We still couldn't figure that one out either. I went to the dr for bleeding the day before Christmas eve, found nothing in my uterus via u/s. Day after Christmas, my levels were already back to normal. Got smashing drunk on New Years Eve (roughly a week later), DTD, and three wks later I have another positive HPT. It was bizarre! Good luck to you and keep us posted!!

Your body will not ovulate until your hCG levels are back <5...if your hormone level is higher than 5 then your body "thinks" it is pregnant...so unless you lost your baby way earlier then expected I doubt you ovulated 3 days after a m/c...and as Jessica said...the bleeding is your body shedding your uterine lining...

I'd definately say call your doc...

I know I posted to this in the TTC forum, but I wanted to ask you if your bleeding was heavy. I got told when I was pregnant with my son that I had a miscarriage because of bleeding and them not being able to find anything on the scan. Then a few weeks later I found out I was still pregnant...

I highly doubt it's possibly. Your body needs time to release an egg. And most women DO NOT ovulate right away after a loss. They go back to their "normal" cycle after their first period since the loss.

I just don't believe in this whole, "miscarried yesterday - get pregnant the next day" stuff.

It's been almost 2 weeks since my D&C and I'm still feeling pregnancy symptoms off and on. Also, I'm still popping big fast positives on HPTs from the hormones still in my system. I guess I would make sure it's not just leftover hormones. We are going to try again right away, but I want to make sure I get a negative first. I think this is the only time I'm hoping for a BFN!

Good luck...I hope you get some answers. I'm hoping for you that maybe you didn't really miscarry.

I don't think it's possible. Even *if* you were ovulating before you started bleeding, your uterus would have since shed it's lining. If you still have symptoms in a week, try testing and call your Dr.

I don't think you can get pregnant again that soon after a m/c. I got pregnant right after my m/c at 5 1/2 weeks and that wasn't until like 20 days after the m/c. If your still feeling pregnant i would A. Take a test, because at 5 1/2 weeks your hormone levels should have went down pretty fast or B. Call you dr.
