Hey ladies, I was looking around and i thought i could maybe get some support on this board. It seems like a good place to start anyways lol.
I guess i should give you a little background information. My name is Christal (24), i am Married to Joel (25), we have a 15 month old at home named Nathan, and we have been trying for number two since July of this year. We did end up getting pregnant with number two in Aug and I was able to keep the pregnancy up until this past week. I was just shy of 14 weeks pregnant when i started spotting on Halloween night. I wasnt sure what it was or if it was even anything at all. I waited until the next day when i start spotting more and went into the ER. They could not find anything with the ER ultrasound machine and set me up with an ultrasound for the next day. Right before we were about to leave for the night the doctor came back after looking at my blood work and told me my hormone numbers were only at 719. Right then i knew we had lost the baby. Went in the next day for the ultrasound to confirm what i already knew that we no longer had the baby with us. I went into the doctor the day after the ultrasound to talk about what my options were and he wanted to try and give me pills to see if i could pass it on my own, i was in contractions for 4 days and when i went back into his office on the 4th day he told me he was going to try to get it out right then and there as he could see it. I started to hemerage and was sent right over to day surgery to have a D and C. I feel so much better and i am in such less pain after having the d and c. Myself and Joel dont want to forget this baby, but we have talked about it and want to start trying again very quickly for baby number two. So i thought this would be a good place that maybe i could join, i know i will be much more hesitant to tell anyone if we get pregnant right away and im sure i will have lots of support from others who have gone through what we have. I hope i have a chance of getting to know you all better. and i hope i posted this in the right spot and nobody takes offense to it!!
Good luck with TTC again ladies!!!

Welcome to the board, Christal.
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss!!!
I think you and Joel can begin trying whenever you're ready, which could be the first cycle following your D&C. I wish you and him the best of luck!!

Hi, Cristal. I was also in the May DDC (as ShockedMama) and I'm so, so sorry to see you here too. There are so many wonderful and supportive ladies here, I don't know what I would've done without them. I hope you get your BFP ASAP, I totally understand that need to move on.

Hi and welcome Christal
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and like the others have said, you will never forget your baby.
That doesn't mean though that you can't try again and I hope that you get a big sticky BFP soon.
The ladies on here are all absolutely fantastic and always there, no matter how you feel!
xx

Hi Christal,
I am very sorry for your loss, and I hope your cycles return to normal and you get your BFP very soon.
I had a loss in August at 10 weeks, had a D&C and also started TTC as soon as AF came. It took 36 days for her to come, and that cycle was longer than normal (34 days when they used to be 28, and O on day 23 as opposed to 17/18). This is my second cycle trying. Just wanted to let you know your cycles may be a little off. Although some women go back to normal immediately.
I wish you the best!

Welcome to the board...this is definitely the place to be. It's helped me both heal and get ready to move forward.
I had a D&C 2 weeks ago...I was in the May DDC before that. I've had one other miscarriage too. We are going to try and get pregnant right away too! I currently have myself on hold until I stop spotting and also get a negative HPT (to show that my hormone levels are down).
I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you will find some comfort and caring on this board. We all know what you are going through and it's not easy.
Again, welcome and I look forward chatting with you.

Welcome Christal. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. My name is Kimberley and I lost my baby @ 10w in April. We are now on our 7th cycle of TTC. I would have been lost without the support on this board.
Good luck TTC. I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome Christal. I am so sorry for you loss. My name is Mary (30) and Dh Dave (34) I have three children and three Angels. With the most recent on on September 4th I was a little over 19 weeks. like christine said You cycle's may take a little bit to get back to normal. My normal cycles were 29 days and so far they have been 34&32 .SO they have not been to far off. Another thing is that I have been ovulating alot later than normal. So keep that in mind when you ttcagain.
These ladies are the best. I really did not know where to go or who to talk to when I lost my baby. They have all been through this horrible pain and know where you are coming from. We are here to listen to anything you need to get off your chest ..
Good luck in the future.
