You're going to want the kind with just Guaifenesin, I'm pretty sure. It loosens and thins mucus, which is what you want. I'm not sure if they've changed their formula names or not, I thought it used ot be something else, but now the straight Guaifenesin syrup is call "Chest Congestion." Everything else seems to have a cough suppressant and/or other stuff, which I'm thinking would be unnecessary medicine.
ETA: You could probably find a generic syrup that has the same ingredients for less $$$. Just look for an expectorant syrup with the same amout of Guaifenesin as the Robitussin.
