Can you ovulate or gear up to ovulate while still spotting slightly?

I miscarried on Nov 2nd and I'm still spotting a tiny bit..its not even really spotting though its more like I bet if I stuck a tissue up there and wiped off my cervix it would never happen again (not gonna do that) its just like a couple little dots of dryish brown stuff (sorry thats so gross).
I'm getting creamy/watery cm today and its kinda cloudy coloured from the brown stuff.

Is this still the m/c or possibly gearing up to ovulate? we're not ttc this month I'm just wondering.

Yup, you totally can. The spotting can be old blood making it's way out still, and you're body can be gearing up to O regardless of that. Frustrating and confusing, huh.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss!

I got AF on Nov. 2nd, and my body is gearing up to O right now. So, I agree, it's probably old blood leaving your system.

I'm sorry girl!

yep its definitely me gearing up to ovulate. I have every sign I get before I ovulate. I am kinda unsure about TTC. I *can* do it this month but I dont know if its wise.
I use IUI with donor sperm due to an issue with my SO. The fertility clinic wont let me do an IUI this month but I have a close friend who is willing to provide me with a private "product" for me to do it on my own at home if I choose to.
