Hi ladies. So, I went for what should have been my first prenantal appointment. The med assistant that came in obviously didn't have the update and congratulated me on her way out of the room Well, I loved the midwife. She did my pap and said that everything looked good. She also added that since I am 30 and Nelson will be 42 on the 20th of this month 'that time was a wastin and we had better hop to it'. This, of course, was after I told her that we were already ttc again I found myself quite uncomfortable around all of the pg women in the waiting room, though. It was sad, but encouraging at the same time. She told me to make sure I was taking 1000mcg of folic acid daily and bding atleast every other day during the good times of the month. So, she bid me farewell and said that she hoped to see me again really soon. Just wanted to get it off my chest. Atleast now I know that I am ok, and should be able to become pg again soon.

Sorry about the tech...sometimes they just dont pay enough attention to the charts when they prep the patients...

But on a good note...your midwife sounds wonderful!! Good luck on your TTC journey and I'm sure we will be celebrating your BFP before you know it!!!

Well I'm sorry to say that you got that comment from the med tech. I had a similar experience, on my follow-up visit after the miscarriage/stillbirth. But it was worse, it was from the OB.

Now I will tell you she was the one that delivered me, I had called in a bagazillion (yeah more than a gazillion) afterwards questioning everything and wondering about test results, and even brought in a piece of unsual tissue that passed after the deliver 2 weeks post partum... And she still forgot. Not only that I saw her look at my chart before she said it. AND it took her nearly 30 seconds of me with a OMFG *** did you say? look on my face before she realized it.

In any case, I changed my OB just recently. Which I'll probably post about soon.
