I actually haven't even miscarried yet. Basically I went in Friday for an u/s (abdominal cuz I can't do the vag ones) at 9 weeks and doc thought the baby was measuring at about 6 weeks. Got bloodwork done that day and HCG levels were 42,000. Did HCG again today and levels are dropping, they're 39,000 now. So it's inevitable that I'm going to lose my little one which has me in a huge depression.
But anyway, the reason I'm already posting here is because I'm wondering if anyone here has conceived on Clomid and then lost the baby. If so, do you think I'll need Clomid next time right away? (we want to TTC again as soon as possible) Or are my chances of ovulating increased since I managed to get pregnant once?
Thanks so much and hi everyone.

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your situation.

Thank you, girls.
Irene, you've had 9 children and 6 miscarriages? Wow. Sorry if this comes off as nosy or insensitive but do you know why you've miscarried so many times? I don't know how you've dealt with the heartache so much. Just this one for me is bad enough.
I think it's great that you have 9 kids though. I've always thought a big family would be so much fun.

I am so sorry. I have a cousin, and she resumes clomid each time she wants to ttc. But, I personally have no experience with it. Good luck, and you found a great group here.

hi there, let me start by saying, i'm soo sooo sorry for what you are going through. it is SO hard!!!! i conceived on my first round of clomid. i lost the baby at 8 weeks. we waited a cycle to ttc again. i used clomid the next cycle and it was a really screwy cycle. AF came and on to this cycle. I used clomid again this cycle and i'm on 13DPO with no temp drop yet. so i'm cautiously optimistic. my body has fooled me before though. G/L and big hugs!!! it does get easier, but the loss is always emotional!!!

I just wanted to say how sorry I am. I think Irene's situation is similar to mine. I've got 2 children and 5 miscarriages. Mine are due to late ovulation and low progesterone levels. I *finally* got a doctor that listens and is using meds to help correct the situation so hopefully that will work.

IAMommy, I remember you from the June DDC. Wasn't it great to be part of that?? I hope both of us will join another DDC soon.
Well, from everone's replies, looks like I probably will have to go back on Clomid, darn it. It's not a horrible thing but it would just be SO nice to ovulate on my own! Luckily my cycles are always 28-30 days. Hopefully once I miscarry, it won't be long til AF shows up again.
