I am stunned how can a DR make it through medical school and be sooo clueless??!!???

Granted he only sees old pple daily but come on...

I went into the walk in clinic 1/2 from here to get the standered Beta lab paper so I can get the tests done here and THEN see my DR one hour away after results are in.

So I am waiting in his office and he comes and starts to ask when last af was ect. I tell and he says well you are almost 5 weeks..Umm I said no I am not then he says OHH but you are see you have a 14 days till you O then all women get AF exactly 14 days and that makes you 5 weekish...

UMMM NO. I Know I Oed cd20 and I did clomid...Ohh he says you can have multiples you know?? ..umm yep lol

But he says now back to YOUR 28 day cycle as we are going to base your due date on a 28 day cycle. You are due July 23 or something at this point I begin my smileing and nodding yes sir whatever you say sir.

Now give me lab papers!! Then I had to explain I needed a Quantitative NOT a qualititative and I had explain how it has be at least 48 hour apart..he followed my intstuction and I RAN out to Lab!! LOL

I hope to get results tomorrow and post today pics with matching beta results...I am so nervous!

Time for a new doctor?

I understand they base the EDD on a 28 day cycle. They told me I was due July 12, but since my FF says July 10... I'm going off of that since it sees my typical cycle patterns.

Silly doctors.

I deal with a much better DR an hour away but I seen him cuz he is closer and if a poor beta then I dont bother booking with my real dr and wasteing her time.

My DR only goes by my O date as to EDD she thinks wheels are silly unless you really do have a 28 day cycle lol
