Ok Ladies.....I know I haven't really been posting much but i have been reading and checking on everyone. Today I am 12DPO it's been 13 days since my HCG trigger shot. Well, DH has been asking me when will we know if i'm pregnant or not and I said I guess if AF doesn't show, that might be a pretty good sign. I just hate to go out and spend all that money on a test and it be negative. Well, I went to Family Dollar and got one of their test and I know alot of people don't like the Blue dye test but that was all they had. It's the Family Dollar One Step Pregnancy test that is supposed to be compared to EPT. Well i have had some cramping the last couple hours. Nothing major but almost like AF is coming. I have been burping alot and I mean alot. Since my m/c in June I have had a 12 day LP and that means AF should be here tomorrow. Anyway, i know i'm rambling but I'm so nervous and scared and don't want to get my hopes up. This is the first time I have ever used a blue dye test but here are the test results!!! Tell me what you think????????

Now my question is.......Could this be a false postivie because of the HCG Trigger shot? Most places I have ready say that it takes a day per 1,000 units of HCG and I had a 10,000 unit shot 13 days ago? Could this finally be it? OMG OMG OMG.....By the way, I got my progesterone results back from 19DPO and they were 12.3. Still a little low I think but it's better than 6.3. I'm sorry for rambling. I am just soooooo nervous and scared that tomorrow morning, I am going to wake up to AF........Has anyone else ever used this kind of test or the blue dye tests?

ETA: This result showed up within about a minute. OMG OMG OMG

Thanks ladies. I am just sooooooo scared that this is an aweful joke. If I hadn't had that shot I might be a little more at ease about it. I am afraid to go get some good tests because I'm afraid of what it will show. I really really really want to be excited.

Well I called Stephanie at the DR office after I took the test about an hour ago and she wasn't there but i left her a message and asked her to call me back. I work at a hospital here in town so I can get them to do a Beta on me for no charge. I am just soooooo scared that it's not real. I want this more than anything. I know we all do but I'm terrified to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweety, with or without the trigger shot, you'd still be very nervous. We all find reasons to try to talk ourselves down from it. Youre pg, enjoy it as much as you can. I cant wait to watch you progress H&H 9 months babe

That's a definite BFP.

I've used the blue dye tests and every time I've gotten a + they've been real.

I found this on a website peeonstick.com

Every woman's metabolism is different, but as a general rule of thumb, you should allow 1 day for every 1,000 units of hCG you injected. The standard hCG dose is 10,000 units; thus, 10 days after the shot, the synthetic hCG should be gone and you should be able to test for pregnancy without detecting the shot. However, you should ask your doctor what the recommended protocol for your dosage is.

Some women choose to test daily to monitor the presence of the hCG in their bodies; once the synthetic hCG is gone, the tests become negative. If the hCG "comes back" and the HPT's turn positive again, it's likely due to a pregnancy and not the leftover hormone shot.

I hope this helps and I truly hope this is it for you. I know by your posts this is so wanted. Good luck!

I think once it sinks in and maybe i take another test, that I will start to get a little more excited. I haven't told anyone except DH and my best friend Leslie and of course all of ya'll. I refuse to tell everyone like I did last time only to have to tell them 3 days later that I lost the baby. ya'll are all so wonderful and I would have never made it to this point without all of ya'll.
