I never even drank coffee before I met DH. We do make Starbucks coffee at home (typically Sumatra). I'm trying to stop now though that we are TTC, especially since I'm in the 2ww (I think)

I hardly go there, I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee actually. Plus they have a drive through - with the kids - that is priceless.

Me too!!
Our Starbucks is in the grocery store (Safeway) so sometimes when I'm grocery shopping I'll tell myself if everything I need comes to under $____ I will treat myself to a Cafe Vanilla frappucino. Other times, like when I'm feeling down or frazzled, I'll get one just cause and it always feels so sinfully good and perks me up. Especially when accompanied by one of their big squares of chocolate fudge. Mmmm!
That's horrible. LOL

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks, I find their coffee too strong.

No, Starbucks is WAYYYYYYY overpriced. Who the heck pays $7 for a freaking frappaccino? Sorry, but I can get better iced coffee from McDonald's.
Starbucks is just a "status symbol" for most people.... which is pathetic, IMO.

Really? I've tried the iced coffee from McDonald's and hated it so much that I threw it out. It really is just coffee with ice in it, and I can make that at home. All I have to do is wait until the coffee has sat in the pot for a couple of hours, et voilą! I can only speak for myself, but I don't drink Starbucks for any sort of 'status'. I'm not a status-oriented kind of gal. I honestly like the specialty coffee from Starbucks. I'm not a fan of their regular coffee because, as Kimberley said, it's just too strong. I almost never treat myself to anything, but if I am going to spend $7 on myself I choose to get myself a delicious and (admittedly) decadent treat. I'm sure you have spent $7 on things I would never dream of buying- to each his own. In my opinion, it's a little presumptuous and pretentious to decide that I am a pathetic status seeker.

I Found that comment a little harsh and offensive though I'm sure it wasn't intended that way.
I don't go to starbucks because it's "Starbucks" I go because I finally caved and tried it and their stuff is soo good! it's a nice treat occasionally. And FYI my Fraps are under $5.00
