So yeah we go screwed, we were supposed to be going to Cali but not now they said we are going to Texas! I'm so pissed lol i do not wanna go to Texas! I was looking forward to moving back to Cali so i could be closer to my mom and dad, and the girls to there grandparents. Now we are going to be even further away than here. So we will be moving after the first of the year sometime, so just to give you ladies a heads up i'll prolly be away for about 20 days or something like that during the move. Blah i'm really not happy right now about moving there LOL

That totally stinks. I hate it when that happens. If he hasn't gotten official orders maybe there is a chance to try and pull some strings. I am so sorry.

Ugh Denise, believe me when i tell you i know how you feel hunny. It sucks, you think ur getting orders somewhere and low and behold they screw you. Sorry hun, at least youll get out of the snow lol.

true the snow and rain lol i'm glad to leave here but San Diego would have been so nice lol. We did find out some good news all the ships that are in Texas are being moved to San Diego next year sometime and the base in TX is closing, so i guess we will get to move to CA but not till later next year sometime. I'm not getting my hopes up though

See some silver lining is there then!! I hope it works out that way, but like all military planning... there is no planning hahahah. Im out in 2 more years and couldnt be happier. Its not a bad thing just not for me. I have had enough of people telling me when i can do anything and where to live ect. i just want to be near my family finally. Itll be 6 years (once im out) that i havnt lived near my parents or sister, so yeah, im ready lol.
Good news is you can buy a home in TX if you want, and even if not its cheaper to live there right now than here, so u can save ur pennies and buy a beautiful home here in a year or so

Yeah we def wanna buy a home just not sure when yet lol, gotta fix some bad things on the credit reports first lol. Chris has to crossrate to MN but the bonus is 35000 so that will help us fix out credit LOL. I just go bad new that he didn't make E-5 either lol, i figured he wouldn't cause the rate he is in now is locked up. He missed it by 1.5 so thats super LAME

ROFL I didnt make E-5 either if it makes you and him feel any better. he was a hellofalot closer tho. i missed it by 45 points LMAO!!! It was my first time taking this test, so i really dont care espically since E-5 is hardest rank for HM's anyways. Sorry he didnt make it tho...
The cross rate sounds like a good ammount of money, but whats his deployability???

I'm not sure, hes gotta do school which is 10 weeks, then we will find out more once he gets to a ship. The only places minesweepers are is Texas that is how we know were going there lol. So i'm not really sure about much right now. I know i can't move to school with him which sucks LOL, cause last A-School i moved with him and that was in Great Lakes.

not sure what Orange is lol, but we are getting stationed in Ingelside TX, but will be living in Corpus Cristi since the housing is nicer there, and its only a 20 min drive from one base to the other. LOL

I grew up on a military base(with civilian parents). I hate to hear things like that. There are so many people that could care less where they went and you get sent somewhere you don't want to go! But, on the other hand, you may love it. Fingers crossed for that
