I had a loss on November 7th I don't know how far along I was because I didn't find out I had lost the baby until after the miscarriage, but I am guessing I was only 4 weeks pg. My dr told me to wait 2-3 months before trying again. How long did your dr tell you to wait after your loss and how far along were you? This was also my first ppaf since having my daughter 13 months ago.

Everything I read and what I was told was that after a loss that early (usually called a chemical pregnancy) you don't have to wait at all.

I had a D&C at 10 weeks and was told to wait until AF came. So basically we could try the next cycle.

I m/c at 4w2d and was told I could start trying again right away, but it took me 6 cycles to get a BFP.

Most people say to wait for af. This is just so that in case you do get pregnant, it is easier to date. However as soon as you feel ready, I say go for it as no studies show that waiting has any positive impacts on the health of the pregnancy.

I lost my little angel on November 1st at 11 weeks and I was told to wait 2 cycles/2 months... DH and I did our own research and have decided to forgo waiting since most EVERYTHING I read said that there is no greater risk in TTC immediatly after a miscarriage that most doctors ask you to wait for dating purposes. Expecially if there is no medical reason to wait.

With my natural m/c at about 7w i was told wait 3 cycles by 1 doc, and then wait 1 cycle by an OBGYN doc. On my D&C at about 9ish weeks, i was told just wait 1 cycle, but I stopped TTC after that.

Its all dependent on the doc, and your situation. If you were first trimester, and without complications then there really isnt any reason to have to wait beyond mentally healing, and dating purposes.

I had a d&c at 8 weeks, I was told to wait two cycles, so that my body would go back to normal.

With a natural miscarriage you do not have to wait. I had a natural miscarriage and that following month I got a BFP. Now after a D&C I think everydoctor is different. I was told to wait at least 1 cycle maybe 2 and my loss was at 19 weeks

I am sorry for your loss

When I lost my baby at 6/7 weeks (naturally) I was told to wait a cycle before thinking about trying again, although my husband and I both agreed to wait until we were both mentally ready to try again. I must say I agree with alot of you it depends on both the doctor and your selves.
