Update
Well I did an opk this morning 7am and it came out nearly positive again then I took one at 11am and it came out the same as this morning but then I took one at 2pm and it was a clear positive!!!!!!! The test line was so much more darker than the control line!!!! I hope that this stuff is accurate. I am using answer brand. they are pretty reliable right? Well, thats the kind I always use and its the first positive in the past 5 months!!!! I hope this is right!!! thanx for your help ladies!




I took an opk test this morning about 8 am and it came out positive, then i took one at about 12 an it wasnt as dark as the earlier one. the test line wasnt nearly as dark as when I took it in the morning. If I am going to ovulate, will all the tests I take come out positive? Im so confused. and also, when is the best time to take the test, morning afternoon or what? I heard the morning isnt good then I heard it was ok. ugh

you arent supposed to take OPK in the morning.

because it enters your urine later in the day. I think its possible that if you got a positive first thing in the morning then that means your surge started last night and it is less dark cuz your surge is ending maybe?

Did you take a test on Monday ?? What is also positive ?? I was told not to take the test until around noon.

Example.. last Saturday I took test around 8am and I was negitive and then I took one around 1pm and it was positive. I guess I have never had one positive in the morning and negitive in the afternoon unless it was my second day of getting a positive

never got a positive on monday. it wasnt as dark as the control line. Well it was positive than we dtd last night so hopefully we caught the eggie. Im so freaking confused on these opk's! I have never gotten a positive, this morning is the first time and I usually take them about 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

If you have never gotten a positive before it's possible your surges dissipates faster you may be missing them. Especially since you tested at a different time today and got a different result. i thought i had it all figured out until today! I am wondering if the clomid I am on has anything to do with it. Apparently I shouldnt be getting a positive read until thursday or friday because he told me to start bding 5days after i stopped the pill! Ooooo why is this so confusing!

Thank you kingdink for the website, i dont know why i didnt think to check there. Im hoping that I did o because we dtd just for fun and that would be so wonderful to get a BFP soon!
