Hello ladies,
I have only posted with you all once, however I need some help. I had a 13 week M/C 3 months ago and am to the point where I am dealing with what happened and ready to move forward. I do however have every intention of trying again in the near future. Over the past week I have been feeling sick and have even put on three pounds( I would assume water weight). I have had a few other symptoms of pregnancy as well. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was negative. My question is was it just too early to test? Has anyone else gotten a POS 5 days before AF was due? I am driving my self crazy! I have already been pregnant 5 time with three children as a result of those pregnancy. You would think I would know this. I have never wanted another baby sooo badly.

I think most people test about 10DPO ovulation. I'm not sure how long your LP is. Do you know how many days from ovulation to when AF starts? I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope that you get your sticky BFP soon.KUP.

The earliest I have tested positive is 10DPO. I've tested positive twice at 10DPO. I have tested at 8 DPO before but they've always been negative. GL to you.

I am not sure when I ovulated as I was not trying to conceive, but we were also not being very careful. I am a typical 28 day cycle and last AF was Nov 6 and I am now due for my next AF on Dec 4. Does that help? I am very regular with cycle

Well, I think most digital pregnancy tests say they can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 4 days before your missed period. I would think you could test now, but it will not be 100% accurate. I think on the CBE box it says 54% or something like that for 4 days before.

Yikes 54%! That is a low percentage to chance. I think I will try and hold out a few more days. I am driving myself crazy and with odds like that I will continue to drive myself crazy if it is a negative. Thank you for your help and I will give an update when I get up the nerve to try again in a few days.

My Af is due on 4th/5th and i have just got a couple of faint BFPs...the only problem with testing so early though is that the results are hard to see and you could easly just mistake it for a BFN! Good luck when you test though hun id love a Due Date Buddy

I think I read somewhere that HCG doubles every 2 days (is that right, anyone?). If so, you may have just had too little in your system to test positive. I think that the closer you are to your actual AF due date, the more accurate the HPTs are. Having said that, I go test crazy a good 5 days before AF is due pretty much every month!

Good luck!
