Well, I moved up my post partum appt to Wednesday, so I can tell her my intentions of trying again. I know they won't be happy with the decision, but it is our decision. I am going to start taking folic acid today to lower my chances of miscarriage and abnormalities. But this is my question or questions...

Is it too soon to already ovulate? We went to our home in NC this weekend, to get things done, that we never did. But before that on the ovulation test there was the ovulation line and the reference line. Now, when I got back there is no ovulation line. I tested a hpt test to see if the hormones are out of my system, but it came up a faint positive, so I figure it isn't all out.

When should I test again?

Thanks for your help!

I forgot to add for the past couple of days I've been feeling weird. Last week we were BD'ing and last night I told my dh I feel like I'm pregnant with bloating and fullness in the pelvic area. It just started to feel very uncomfortable with laying on my tummy when we went to bed. But I just think that it is just the aftermath of the miscarriage. I just wanted to get different takes on this situation. Oh there has been no blood for 3 days, but the other day I did get a spot of blood, but nothing big.

It's probably a bit early to be O'ing and I would say that the + HPT you got was definitely left over hormones from your last pregnancy. I lost our son at 20 weeks and it took 5 1/2 weeks before I got my first AF. They say 4-6 weeks is the norm.

I would wait until after you get 1 regular AF before starting to try again. Losing a baby as far along as you were is very hard on your body and 1 cycle to recover is usually recommended.
