Started OPKs on Sunday. Just one that day, 2 on Mon and one last night. Well, I wasn't expecting a + at all yesterday, but I got one. After about 5 minutes I checked it. I wasn't sure if it was darker than the control, but it was at least equal. Even DH said he thought it was darker, it was just one of those times where the band was maybe just about equal across, but had the dark line on the side. Anyway, so we DTD, even though my poor DH is sick. Such a trooper. So about an hour later I was getting ready for bed and looked at the dry OPK again and it looked totally different. The test line wasn't positive at all! I have only been using these things for 2 months now, but that has never happened to me before. How the heck did it get lighter? Was it not positive the first time or should I disregard the fact that it got lighter later because it was after 10 minutes? I'll take another today to see what I get, but this is so aggravating! Has anyone had this happen before?

mine usually dry darker than when i tested. what brand are you using. i will tell you the Answer 20 sticks in a pkg, i have found to be very weird and i don't use them anymore.

I used the ones from babywishes.org. Last month they dried just alittle darker or about the same. So weird!

That is weird. I've never had that happen.

I'd disregard after the 10 minute mark.
